Microchipping with Health Check
Service Description
In NSW, it is a requirement that all cats and dogs must be microchipped by the time they are 12 weeks old or before being sold. Failure to comply may result in penalties being issued. Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and are implanted by a qualified microchip implanter underneath the skin between the shoulders of your pet in the comfort of your own home. The unique 15 digit microchip number is then registered and your details forwarded to your local Council so that your pets microchip number will always be connected to you. You will then be able to log in online to check your details and update your contact number and address when needed. This ensures that if your pet was to ever go missing that they can be reunited with you. This service covers the health check, microchip device, implantation of the device, administration tasks associated with registering your pets microchip and the required forms that you will need to register your pet with Council (a separate requirement). If you have a litter of puppies or kittens, we offer discounted rates, so please call us to discuss.
